WIC Program Eligibility & Qualifications:

To be considered for WIC you must be a pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum woman, infant or child under 5 years old. You must be at nutritional risk and be within the program income guidelines.

To be considered for WIC you must be a pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum woman, infant or child under 5 years old. You must be at nutritional risk and be within the program income guidelines.

Income Guidelines


If you qualify for any of the following programs, you are eligible to receive
benefits from Inter-Tribal Council, Inc. WIC:
     • Medicaid
     • SNAP (Food Stamps)
     • TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
     • FDP (Food Distribution Program)


If you do not qualify for any of these programs, check our income eligibility guidelines
to see if you would still qualify for WIC benefits.


Applying for WIC :
You will need to make an appointment with the Inter-Tribal Council WIC staff in your area.
When you come for your appointment, you must bring the following items:

     • Proof of Income
     • Proof of Address
     • ID for person applying for WIC

Acceptable Proof of Income: TANF, SNAP, Medicaid, FDP, SSI, Pay Stubs, Alimony, Child Support, Military Pay Documentation, Past Year Income Tax Return, Recent Savings Statement, Scholarship Letter, Self-Employment Documentation, Statement from Employer, Unemployment Documentation, W-2 Form, Affidavit

Acceptable Proof of Residency: Current Pay Stub, Official DHHS Documentation, Official Document with Address, Rental Mortgage Receipt, Utility/Personal Bill, Voter Registration Card, Third Party Verifier, Driver’s License

Acceptable Proof of Identity: Immunization Record, Birth Certificate, Photo ID, Social Security Card, Voter Registration Card, Pay Stub
